The Course at Maggie Valley Club
Hand-sown in the 1960s, the fairways at Maggie Valley Club are a mixture of Kentucky bluegrass and perennial rye and remain green all year. Beautiful bent grass greens are kept soft to reward precise approach shots.
A state-of-the-art irrigation system was incorporated in 2000, and a planting program adds 60-70 flowering and ornamental hardwood trees, including brandy wine maples, to the course each year.
Butch Harmon, renowned instructor of Tiger Woods, had this to say about Maggie Valley Golf Course: “It’s beautiful. I can’t imagine how gorgeous it must be in the fall with all the colors. The course is very playable, which makes it fun, but it’s also tricky enough to challenge golfers.”
